Painting & Slogan Writing Competition with Eco Rally
Theme “Environment Protection Awareness.” Over 150 students from various government and private schools of Chandigarh enthusiastically participated in the event. The young participants created beautiful and thought-provoking artworks emphasizing the importance of protecting the environment and preserving the beauty of our surroundings.
Eco Quiz
Conducted at Sri Guru Gobind Singh Collegiate Public School, Sector 26, Chandigarh, the quiz witnessed enthusiastic participation from numerous schools, with 87 students from various government and private institutions of the city appearing for the first-round written test. From these, eight teams, each comprising three students, qualified for the final round, where they responded to thought-provoking questions on environmental issues.
WALKATHON
The Environment Society of India organised a vibrant Walkathon on 16 November 2025 at Sukhna Lake, Chandigarh, as part of its Golden Jubilee Celebrations (13–21 November 2025). The event witnessed an inspiring participation of over 900 citizens, highlighting the powerful message of “RRRRR – Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Recover.”
