Training & Skill Development

Environment Society of India, Chandigarh

The Environment Society of India (ESI) has long recognized that sustainable development is deeply rooted in education, awareness, and capacity building. In line with this vision, the Society has initiated a Training & Skill Development Program aimed at equipping individuals—particularly students, youth, educators, and community members—with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to promote and implement environment-friendly practices.
Through partnerships with academic institutions, government departments, industry experts, and environmental professionals, the Society seeks to foster a culture of sustainability and empower citizens to become active stewards of the environment.

Objectives of the Program

  • To raise awareness about environmental challenges and solutions.
  • To provide hands-on training in sustainable practices.
  • To build local capacity for green jobs and eco-entrepreneurship.
  • To promote behavioral change through community-based learning.
